1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Splitwo you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Splitwo is operated by QALI-T. You can reach us at hola@splitwo.com.

2. Service description

Splitwo is a tool to record, organize and split expenses between people. We are not a financial service, bank, digital wallet or payment processor. We don't move money between users; we simply record debts and balances for reference. Actual settlement of money between you and other users is your responsibility, outside the platform.

3. Eligibility

To use Splitwo you must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 17, you declare that you have permission from your parent or legal guardian. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
You must provide accurate information when signing up.
You can't create accounts on behalf of other people without their consent.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Acceptable use

By using Splitwo, you agree not to:

Use the service for illegal or fraudulent activities.
Harass, threaten or harm other users.
Try to access other users' data without authorization.
Introduce malware, viruses or other malicious code.
Scrape automatically or abuse the API.
Create fake accounts or impersonate others.

6. User content

The expenses, descriptions and names you record on Splitwo are your property. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and display them to you and the members of your groups.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you record. Splitwo does not verify the amounts or veracity of the expenses entered.

7. No financial advice

The balances and calculations shown in Splitwo are reference information only, based on the data you and your group enter. They do not constitute financial, accounting or legal advice. Payment and debt-settlement decisions are exclusively between the users involved.

8. Premium subscription (web)

Splitwo offers advanced features through an optional Premium subscription available on the web version:

Monthly: USD 1.29/month with automatic renewal.
Lifetime: USD 19.99 one-time payment (permanent access).

Payments are processed by Stripe, which complies with PCI DSS standards. Your card data never passes through our servers.

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from Preferences → Manage subscription (Stripe portal). After cancellation you keep Premium access until the end of the period already paid. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after billing. For the Lifetime plan we offer a full refund within the first 14 days after purchase; contact us at hola@splitwo.com.

Prices may change. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any adjustment.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep Splitwo available, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance, updates or interruptions without prior notice. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QALI-T will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Splitwo, including disputes between users about payments or debts recorded in the application.

11. Termination

You can stop using Splitwo and delete your account at any time at splitwo.com/eliminar-cuenta. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

12. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes through the application or by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the changes implies acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Honduras. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, without prejudice to the consumer rights that the local laws of your jurisdiction may grant you.
